For only $2,000 you can join over 200 bookstores across Australia and New Zealand who will be selling eBooks from the ReadCloud white-label platform from November 2011.

ReadCloud is an innovative Australian company which have spent the last three years developing eReading software for schools and universities. In early 2011, in consultation with the Australian Booksellers Association, we agreed to develop a platform which, combined with our eReading software, allows Australian and New Zealand booksellers to provide their customers with eBooks in a unique and exciting way.

The eBookstore will be a sub-domain of your existing website called ebooks.[your bookstore].com.au (if you don't have a website we will provide this as well) and you will be able to window dress the categories with over 20,000 eBooks. When the customer purchases the eBook, we will provide the eBook to the customer, collect the payment and settle with you, the ATO and the publishers.

Furthermore, we will be proving you with an application for Android tablets/smart phones which links directly to your eBookstore as well as an eReading application for iPad/iPhones.

The many founding bookstores already on board include Pages and Pages, Sunset Books, Better Read Than Dead, Abbeys, Shearers, Birchalls, Thesaurus, Berkelouw, Australian Online Bookshop, Books and Beyond, Boffins, BookBazaar, New Edition, Lighthouse, Robinsons and Melbourne University Bookshop.

We have the rights to distribute eBooks from a number of major publishers such as Harper Collins, John Wiley & Sons, Allen & Unwin, Murdoch Books, Text Publishing, Scribe Publications, University of Queensland Press, SPUNC and Black Inc and we are in various stages of contract discussions with most of the other international trade and educational publishers.
